The split-case design provides several advantages: Easy maintenance: The pump can be serviced without removing it from the system. The casing can be split open, allowing for easier access to the impeller and other components. Improved reliability: The design helps ensure that the pump operates efficiently for long periods without requiring frequent disassembly or complex procedures. Reduced downtime: Because the pump can be easily inspected and repaired, the downtime for maintenance is minimized.
