What is the maximum flow rate and head for your mine dewatering pumps?
As a dedicated mine dewatering pumps manufacturer, DEFU covers the full performance range: the MP Series reaches a maximum flow of 2360 m³/h (model MP1210550) and a maximum head of 250 m (model MP43487). The TX/TH series handles up to 1021.5 m³/h / 84.4 m for high-volume lower-head applications, and the DJ/DJZ series covers up to 468 m³/h / 60 m for smaller-scale drainage. Get a selection recommendation →
Can your mining pumps handle rocks, slurry, and abrasive solids?
Yes. DEFU mining water pumps are built to handle abrasive solids common in dewatering pumps mining applications. The MP Series passes solid particles up to 100 mm — including small rocks and gravel. The TX/TH and DJ series handle up to 76 mm solids. All series use ductile iron or gray cast iron impellers rated for abrasive service. The MP series Type I & II mechanical seals need no packing or flush water — ideal for sandy mine water conditions.
How does the vacuum-assisted dry-priming system work on the MP series?
The MP series uses a vacuum-assisted dry-priming system — a separate vacuum module creates suction to draw water into the dry pump casing without requiring a foot valve or manual priming. The P-S-P (Prime–Sleep–Prime) automatic control switches the vacuum system to standby once priming is complete, then reactivates automatically when re-priming is needed. Maximum suction lift is 8 m. The vacuum module is oil-free and maintenance-free under normal operation — no impeller shaft seals to replace in the priming circuit.
What certifications do your mining dewatering pumps carry?
DEFU mine dewatering pumps carry CE (EU), UKCA (UK), EAC / TRCU (Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan), and ISO 9001 quality management certification. As mine dewatering pumps manufacturers supplying projects globally, we hold the certifications required for approval in most markets — including mine dewatering pumps South Africa buyers requiring CE, mine dewatering pumps Australia projects, and Russia/CIS tenders requiring EAC. All certificates available in electronic format. Request certificate copies →
How do DEFU pumps compare to other leading mining pump brands?
DEFU pumps are engineered to match or exceed the performance of leading global mining pump brands in the same class. In head-to-head spec comparisons, the DEFU TX6 (6") delivers 381.6 m³/h at a 51.8 m shut-off head, and the DEFU DJ150-400 (6") reaches 415 m³/h at 59 m — both competitive with, or ahead of, comparable models from other well-known manufacturers (see the full performance comparison table above). DEFU ships factory direct with a standard lead time of 35 days — typically faster than distributor channels for equivalent imported brands.
Do you offer diesel-driven mobile pump sets for remote mine sites?
Yes. The MP, TX/TH, DJ, and JT/JU series are all available with Cummins or Weichai diesel engine drives — DEFU is an OEM manufacturer for Dongfeng Cummins engines. Drive options include direct-coupled diesel, belt-drive diesel, electric motor, and hydraulic motor. Mobile configurations include 2-wheel and 4-wheel trailer-mounted sets, skid-mounted sets, and weatherproof canopy enclosures. Silenced (low-noise) enclosures are available for urban or noise-sensitive sites.
What is the lead time and warranty for mine dewatering pumps?
Standard catalogue models ship in 35 days from order confirmation. Minimum order quantity is 1 unit. Custom configurations and larger orders can be discussed for batch delivery scheduling. Warranty is 18 months from the date of shipment or 12 months after installation at site, whichever comes first. 24/7 technical support is provided post-sale, and we can expedite spare parts supply for active mine sites.
