PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

DA series horizontal end-suction centrifugal pumps are designed according to the performance and dimensions specified in the European BS EN733 / DIN24255 standard. This series of pumps is made of a rear open structure and connected with an elastic coupling. They are widely used in industrial and mining, fire fighting, construction, urban water supply and drainage, agricultural irrigation and other fields. In spite of the same specification, the pump's performances vary with the diameter of the impeller

FAQ

1What are the critical design parameters to be considered when specifying an appropriate end-suction centrifugal pump for a given application?
Critical design parameters for selection include the required flow rate, total dynamic head (pressure), fluid properties (viscosity, density, temperature), suction lift requirements, ambient conditions, and desired operational life expectancy. These factors must be carefully evaluated to ensure the pump is appropriately sized and specified to match the demands of the application.
2How does the impeller design impact the performance of an end-suction centrifugal pump?
Impeller design directly influences the pump's ability to handle specific fluid characteristics and achieve required flow rates and pressures. Factors such as impeller shape, dimensions, and number of vanes significantly affect the pump's efficiency, head capacity, and susceptibility to cavitation.
3What is NPSH, and why is it important for end suction centrifugal pumps?
NPSH stands for Net Positive Suction Head, and it refers to the pressure available at the suction inlet of the pump. It is critical for preventing cavitation. If NPSH is too low, cavitation can occur, leading to pump damage. It’s essential to ensure the available NPSH is greater than the required NPSH for optimal performance.
